Yes, there are the obvious signposts that he\u2019s had a life before you, that he slept with someone before you, and may even have a crazy ex who has a penchant for stalking you.\u00a0 But on the flip side, maybe you\u2019d like her, maybe she\u2019s really cool.\u00a0 Maybe you can take yoga together.\u00a0 I like to think positive.<\/p>\n
There is something very special about the DILF.\u00a0 If he has a daughter, it\u2019s a good bet he\u2019s kissed her feet and her behind.\u00a0 This is a goo sentiment for any man.\u00a0 Also, he will explain to his child that when coloring it\u2019s a good idea to stay inside the lines, but if they want to cross outside those lines, that\u2019s OK too.\u00a0 So when you decide to drive too close to a retaining wall in his car, he understands this principle.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s gently washes his child\u2019s hair and cut food into the size of thimbles.\u00a0 He\u2019s dressed them in something that he thinks is cute and well matched, even if it isn\u2019t.\u00a0 One day he\u2019ll quickly Google state capitals in an effort to protect his hero \u201cdad knows everything\u201d image, an image that will be put to the test as he tries to explain the concept of balance to a six-year-old learning to ride a bike\u2014all the while explaining the idea of \u201cnot giving up\u201d while placing bandages on bloodied knees and elbows.<\/p>\n
If this child discovers one day that he or she is gay, one of the most important and hardest conversations will be with this man.\u00a0 His level of understanding is important and will be tested numerous times by this child.\u00a0 His understanding and patience for me will never be tested to this same degree.\u00a0 I\u2019ll try not to disprove this on Twitter, haha.<\/p>\n
